The Campaign
The campaign was launched in 2013 by the Founder of MSF, while in Greece. On that occasion, the application “5 Minutes I meditate” was released as an easy and practical way to practice meditation.
In Curitiba, Brazil, with La Jardinera, the first MSF Global Collective Meditation event was held. The Founder participated in this event and conducted a guided meditation for more than 11 thousand people. Youth participation was massive and for many it was their first opportunity to experience meditation.
After the Meditation, music shows were held, involving artists such as Tiago Iorc, Banda Mais Bonita da Cidade, Yokohama Café, among others. The following year, the event was organised in a different format in Costa Rica and Italy, but always with the same goal: to promote the practice of meditation.
As a result of the effort made, adding minutes for peace has also become a healthy habit among people of various countries, such as United States and Italy.
Also, several companies from different sectors contribute to the campaign by making the habit of meditation a daily practice in these corporations. In addition, we have partnerships with companies that believe in our purpose, with whom we share the benefits of meditation.
